Laramey Misegadis of Sidney High School ha solidified herself as one of her team's best overall players so far this season and she recently is coming off of one of her most efficient showings of the year up until this point. Misegadis is a SG, that gets a good amount of attempts up per game on the offensive end. In her team's most recent victory, Misegadis finished with a team high 14 points on 71% shooting from the field. This is tough to stop when you notice that she also is paired along with a really good team so if you sag off of her or double somewhere else, someone is going to make you pay big time and thats why they sit at 10-1 moving into the middle of January.

[player_tooltip player_id='757583' first='Mylee' last='Tichota'], to my understanding, is still uncommitted for her college future and I don't understand it. This is a 5'10 PG, that moves well for her size, she can control pace of play, while being her team's main producer on both sides of the ball. Over her career she has been a staple for the Yutan program in Nebraska as they have won a lot of games so I'm not sure what is happening. In Tichota's game on Tuesday evening, she finished with a team high 26 points on over 50% shooting from all over the court. She also registered 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists in her efforts - demonstrating that she is more than just a scoring threat while competing. All in all, there is a lot to like about Tichota as a hooper. If she keeps this up throughout the season, I'm sure she will be someone we mention again in the near future moving into the Post season.

Omaha Nation has been on one this season so far and you just love to see it. On Tuesday evening Nation locked in a meaningful W against Powerhouse Oakland-Craig in a tight battle. The best player for Nation, that couldn't be stopped was [player_tooltip player_id='757594' first='Mikkel' last='Parker']. Parker recorded a game high 28 points while shooting 47% and she seemed to get most of these buckets near the painted area off of her team's systematic play. They got Parker into favorable spots, where her size could take over and from there it was downhill. When she was in 1v1 matchups, it was a mismatch and she proved that almost every time she touched the rock. We will hear about Omaha Nation again this Winter. They have too many producers and too many good things going on not too.

Brooklynn Veerhusen was on fire on Tuesday night when she hit six three-pointers from deep in her teams 25+ point victory. Veerhusen is considered a smaller SG with a flamethrower from deep. She doesn't only launch three pointers but it's definitely one of her best abilities at this point in her career and I don't see that stopping anytime soon. Freeman High School has had a memorable start to this Winter season, winning mainly all of their contests so far but they have some tough ones coming up. It's going to take the village if they want to win all of those games. Something that won't be easy but it will be possible if everyone plays their cards correctly.

Silver Lake is a program that doesn't play too many prospects on roster. They really only have 7-8 that consistently see the floor and that means that their main top producers always need to show up or they might be in trouble. Someone that has done a great job at leading this group the past 3.5 years is CG - Makenna Karr. Karr is coming off one of the best games of her season, making smart plays while putting up some nice numbers statistically. Karr is the motor. The player that is making plays on both ends and leading with her voice, along with her actions all the time. Silver Lake will only go as far as Karr can carry them. They have other players but she is source and I think we can expect that to continue on until the end of her high school career.
