With sectional groupings being announced, there's a clearer picture of what teams could possibly be heading down to state. Below are a couple players who I believe could really change the outcome of the game when the playoffs start.

Hackett is a big reason why Central is a team opponents have struggled with. Her ability to stand out next to top level talent and remain a true threat is amazing to see. She can stretch the court at a high clip, is more than aggressive on the boards, and can legitimately fit into any offensive scheme.

Tice has honestly shown major improvement in her skill set over the past few years. When the game slows down, players who operate in the post usually excel, and she is one of those players. The frame, the strength, and the simplicity of her game can work in any system. She doesn't need much to get things done, but she also has a ton of energy.

There hasn't been a player who can legit play the 1–5 in Illinois in a while. When it comes to playing the guard position, she can handle the ball better than most and has also shown major glimpses of being a high level playmaker. Her strength, frame, and patience are the main reasons why she is such a force in the paint and why teams will have to adjust every possession.

Lee below the nail is usually a bucket, and if you're guarding her down there, it will be a long night. You'll have to deal with her ability to score with one move, and you'll have to make sure your head is on a swivel if you're on the help side, because her vision and the confidence to make passes out of the post will cause a lot of problems for the defense.

Every team needs a player that can count on to cause issues for the oppisites team best player, and Benet has that in Tierney. This program has a chance of making it back down state again, and with all the scoring power they have. She brings a 3&D skillset that will definitely be needed when games close. Theres no fear in this kid.
