3A IHSA Post Season Primer: Who Do We Have On Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class 3A is stacked this season, and there are plenty of teams looking to make the trip to ISU this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first team are the Washington Panthers. Washington enters with a 27-2 record, and a number 1 state ranking. They are led by four 1000 point scorers. Tibbs is putting up 20 ppg this season with efficient shooting numbers. She is a sharpshooter that defenders can not leave open from deep. Look out for Avery and the Panthers this post season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The second team is Dixon, who currently sits at 27-3. The Duchessess' held the number 6 ranking in the last AP poll. Dixon is battle tested, playing a tough schedule this season. She really does it all whether it is creating steals for layups, draining a 3, or getting key rebounds she can do it. Ahmyrie uses her size well and is a matchup problem for teams. Trinity is 19-10 this season, but has played a gauntlet of a schedule. They held the number 9 spot in the last rankings. She shows great poise and control on the court always staying in rhythm. Zaria plays lockdown defense creating turnover after turnover. On offense, she gets her teammates involved and makes plays. The Railsplitters are 21-8 this season, and are the 4 seed in their sub sectional. Lincoln will be hosting their regional, which could make for a home upset. She uses her speed well in their press to create turnovers. Defensively, she is a nightmare for opposing teams. On the offensive end, she can step out to hit a shot adding another layer to her game.
