Fresh Faces: 2029 Forwards Pt2

Each passing year introduces new, bright young talent stepping into the spotlight of high school basketball. The Kansas City area and its surrounding regions continue to produce some of the best young players in the country, many of whom are poised to burst onto the scene and claim their rightful place. This article takes a closer look at some of the top forwards in the Class of 2029.      Athletic wing with good athleticism and length at the wing position. Justice has good speed and quickness that she uses a ton on the defensive side of the ball. She's a solid on ball defender that makes it tough on the opposing team. On offense she runs the floor well and does a great job on the offensive glass.     A long and rangy forward who runs the floor extremely well in transition and has soft hands to secure catches and finish when out in front. She is a strong rebounder on both ends of the floor, excelling particularly on the offensive glass where she creates second-chance opportunities with quick put-backs. Offensively, she has reliable scoring range from the mid-range and in, complemented by solid footwork in the paint. She finishes effectively with either hand and shows good touch around the basket.     Zariah is an athletic small forward who shows significant potential as she continues to develop. She is a strong on-ball defender who makes scoring difficult for opposing offenses. Her lateral quickness and active hands allow her to consistently disrupt plays. Offensively, she has the ability to knock down the three-point shot while also attacking downhill and finishing through contact.     Jayden is a solid interior presence who shows potential to expand her game beyond the paint. She rebounds at a high level on both ends of the floor and has the size and strength to handle contact and physicality down low. Her lateral agility allows her to move well defensively and guard multiple positions. Hibler does an excellent job of establishing early post position, creating advantages that lead to easy scoring opportunities. She is also an effective finisher around the rim.     Parker is an athletic small forward that shows a lot of good tendencies already as a freshman. She has great vision and see's the play developing ahead of time on offense. She also has a good handle and is great at creating off the bounce. Parker can shoot it from deep and even the midrange. She has great defensive instincts and does a stellar job of shooting passing lanes.
