Tonight, I'll be attending, potentially, the highest-profile Badger-Large Conference game of the year as Waunakee travels up to Dodge County to take on a talented Beaver Dam program, looking to reclaim their spot atop the conference. However, before I make the drive to Beaver Dam, I'd like to highlight a handful of players. That said, let's talk about some players who've had standout seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275660' first='Tatum' last='Drazkowski']

The Arcadia wing is an athletic player who can excel on both ends of the floor and make plays on the ball. Drazkowski is a player who can attack the basket, blow by her defender off the dribble, and make plays at a high pace. I saw her play at Eleva-Strum, and she was one of the most influential players on the floor this past Monday. I love the energy she uses on both ends of the court. She will also use her athletic tools to impact the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='751287' first='Tessa' last='Bryan']

The Waunakee guard is one of the most influential players in the state and can help her team win any game the Warriors line up against. Bryan is a player who can push the ball up the floor and get transition looks at the basket for herself or teammates. The junior is also a player who can score the ball at a high level at all three levels. At any time, she can take a game over.

[player_tooltip player_id='767257' first='Kylie' last='Butler']

The Argyle-Pecatonica guard is a player who orchestrates one of the most chaotic teams in Division 5 in the best way possible. Butler is a player who has moved the ball well and helped her team get quick looks in transition. She is also the player who helps set her team's full-court defense and can help her team force turnovers and go on a run.

[player_tooltip player_id='1236090' first='Elly' last='Gardner']

The Columbus Catholic guard is one of the more skilled guards in her class and has found a role in her first season with the Don's. Gardner has one of the best hop-steps I've seen in Wisconsin, and can find ways to work her way through traffic and get to the basket. The newcomer is also a solid perimeter shooter who can create open looks off the dribble or be a threat as a catch-and-shoot player. She can exploit defenses by allowing her too much space to shoot. She could become one of the more talented players in Division 5.
