There is a lot to like about the ability that Jordann Oakland brings to the hardwood while hopping. Oakland is a SG, that primarily plays off of the ball as a shooting threat offensively. She can defend her own position at a good enough rate to be able to be kept on the floor, even against some really talented opponents that end up challenging her. We haven't heard much about Oakland prior to this but she is someone I would note out of the 2027 Class. She does a lot of great things, that would translate to the next level one day in some facets if given the opportunity. Oakland has been playing her role and thriving. Things you just love to see moving into the end of the regular high school season.

It's hard not to mention [player_tooltip player_id='951657' first='Tenley' last='Levin'] every week with the type of Freshman campaign she is currently putting together. I do have my questions about Levin's play-style when it has to do with competing at the next level one day but that makes sense as she is VERY young in her career. There is still a lot of time and there will still be a lot of growth before we get to that point. There is no doubt that Levin will continue to be a name we speak about over the next 3.5 years. She is too good with too much length and skill for her age group so I can't wait to see what she will turn into at the end of the day. For now, she will continue to kill it as she works on helping her team on a State run this upcoming Playoff season.

Bettendorf is a program that only goes as far as [player_tooltip player_id='612984' first='Alyvia' last='McCorkle'] can take them and that's no disrespect to anyone else on their roster. McCorkle is just that good and that important to this program. She has been for 3.5 years now so that shouldn't surprise anyone paying attention. Houston got a gamer in McCorkle. She has a firey edge, she is very talented on the skill side of things, she leads with communication and high intensity, and she is someone that has the skill that should carry her to see the floor at Houston, sooner rather than later. McCorkle has been holding serve this season and I'm sure that's only going to get more intense as we move close to the end of the regular season.

Grundy Center sits at 10-1 and ranked within the Top 10 of the 2A Class moving into the end of this week. A big reason for their success has been because of their production from their main stars, as well as the production they are getting across the board from others coming off of their bench. Their main killer has being Ava Mundt at the PF position. Mundt is leading this team in PPG, she is grabbing multiple rebounds a game, and she is blocking several shot attempts from the opposing team that come into the lane. When you combined all of these things, you get a respectable prospect playing their game and that's why Mundt/Grundy Center is having a lot of success so far.

Lynnville-Sully is sitting undefeated at this point within the 1A Class. A major reason for that being because of their deep roster. This roster has talent at multiple positions and within the 1A Class the talent level is far and few. This team currently has 3 individuals with over 100 points on the season already, showing how much they truly spread the love on the offensive end. One of their main threats, who has been shining the past few months is Kate Hartoorn. Hartoorn is leading the program in PPG by a slim margin with most of her attempts/make coming from behind the arc. She is making a good amount of buckets off the catch on the outside right now and that's what stands out. She has also been very impactful from the line, going 18-20 from the charity stripe within their first 11 contests. This program will be one we should see at State coming up here over the next few weeks as long as they take care of business per usual. They just have to stay confident.
