Evelyn Rodriguez has burst onto the scene in her sophomore season, averaging 17.7 points, 4.7 steals, 4.3 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 58% from the field and 33% from three-point range. A dynamic left-handed point guard, she's a skilled ball handler who can create offense with the ball in her hands. She's excellent at changing pace, is a crafty scorer at the rim, can facilitate and has a nose for the ball on defense. Rodriguez has already posted some eye-opening stat lines, including 25 points, six rebounds, six steals, and five assists against Fern Creek, 38 points and seven steals versus Presentation, and 18 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals against Cornerstone Christian. Evelyn is a prospect to follow closely in the Class of 2028.

[player_tooltip player_id='1182860' first='Maddy' last='Engle'] is a strict shooting guard with good size and long arms. She excels at getting to the basket and does a great job creating contact to get to the stripe or using her strength to finish through it, can knock down spot-up threes, and is a very good rebounder for her position. Maddy leads Floyd Central in both scoring (16.8 points per game) and rebounding (7.2 per game), and she's in the midst of a strong sophomore season. She looks like a star in the making out of the 15th Region.

[player_tooltip player_id='932146' first='Jaycelyn' last='Nevitt'] is quietly putting together an impressive sophomore season for Meade County, averaging a team-leading 12.7 points per game while shooting 40% from three-point range and 90% from the free-throw line. A lethal shooter from deep who can manipulate the defense with her range, while also showing the ability to put the ball on the deck and attack. Nevitt also sees the floor well, puts her teammates in position to score, and competes hard on the defensive end. She looks poised to continue putting people on notice as the season moves along. (Featured Image)

[player_tooltip player_id='1302707' first='Alexa' last='Wade'] has emerged as one of the go-to players for Mercer County, ranking second on the team in both scoring (12 points per game) and rebounding (5 rebounds per game) this season. An athletic guard, she brings constant energy to the floor and has proven to be a major threat from beyond the arc. Her activity on the defensive end also stands out, as she's always looking to make a play. Alexa was a key piece for the Lady Indians during the 2A Section 5 Tournament, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Carissa is finding her stride in her sophomore season for Ballard, averaging 10.4 points per game. She's at her best when attacking the basket, but she's also a solid perimeter shooter and has a knack for drawing contact and getting to the free-throw line. She's already turned in some big scoring performances this season, including 18 points against Valley at the Queen of the Commonwealth and 22 points versus Tates Creek.
