From what it looks like, I'll have a few days out of the gym to do some things that I've been meaning to do for some time. It also gives me a chance to look back on games I've attended or watched via stream to discuss players who have impressed me this season. That said, let's look at some players who deserve recognition for their performances so far this season.

The Columbus Catholic guard entered the high school ranks with the Dons and has been an integral part of what her team does on the offensive end of the court. Anyone who can beat their initial defender off the dribble or attack the middle of an opposing zone will help their team be effective on the offensive end of the floor. I have also highlighted that I love her hop step as she works her way through traffic to get to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241386' first='Eden' last='Marg']

Neillsville has an intriguing group who could make a deep run in the postseason, and if things break right for them, they could find themselves in Green Bay this March. [player_tooltip player_id='1241386' first='Eden' last='Marg'] will have a prominent role in a potential run for the Warriors. Marg is an athletic forward with the size to compete against most other post players in the state. She moves well on the defensive end and can use her length to defend in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='904623' first='Emilia' last='MontMarquette']

I have always been a fan of what MontMarquette does on the floor. The Appleton East guard/wing can impact any game she plays in without scoring, which you won't find often from players who can score 20 points on any given night. The Patriots' sophomore moves the ball well, defends well on the perimeter, stays disciplined defensively, and can read the game well on the offensive end of the court. Depending on when you see her play, she may not be an explosive offensive threat, but she connects everything for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275665' first='Destiny' last='Webster']

The Notre Dame guard has been among the most productive lead guards in Northeast Wisconsin and Wisconsin as a whole this season. The Triton has been an effective scorer at all three levels on the floor and reads the game well with the ball in her hands. She has helped elevate the talent around her, and for a team that wants to pick their sports offensively, Webster has been a perfect lead guard for what her team wants to do.
