For these ten ballers representing the Class of 2026-2028, the season is off to a fantastic start. Their efforts have certainly caught my attention as they look to ascend their respective class rankings in our update later this month.

[player_tooltip player_id='666727' first='Nilah' last='Rivera'] | Arts

Nilah picked up right where she left off last season, making a big impact and helping her team win. She kicked off her senior campaign with a double-double vs Cedar Grove and kept her two-way game in high gear for averages of 15.3 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 3.7 APG & 5.7 SPG through seven games. She recorded a game-high 17 points and 3 steals in a loss to national juggernaut St. John Vianney.

[player_tooltip player_id='651499' first='Victoria' last='Liedl'] | Hillsborough

The junior is having a breakout year! Just seven games in, she's already exceeded her total points than the last two seasons combined. With averages of 12.4 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.9 APG & 1.1 SPG... and nearly three triples per game, Victoria is shining bright while helping her team get off to a 6-1 start.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232429' first='Charlotte' last='Hunzinger'] | Pingry

Since last season, Charlotte added an inch to her height and exponential growth to her game. The 6'1" sophomore forward had led her team to some impressive wins this season [over Timber Creek (FL), Westminster Christian (FL) & Mendham] averaging a team-best 13.2 PPG, 7.2 RPG & 1.7 BPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='959125' first='Addi' last='Valdez'] | Immaculate Heart

The first game of the season saw a career-high 20 points vs Northern Highlands, kicking off her junior campaign on the right foot. Since then, she's posted four other games in double-digit scoring, including an impressive 16 points [to go with 4 blocks] against Gill St. Bernard's. A strong two-way effort (averaging 12.4 PPG, 1.0 BPG & 1.1 SPG) has the Blue Eagles off to a 6-2 start.

[player_tooltip player_id='835195' first='Addison' last='Fleming'] | Eastern Christian

Six games in, six times scored in double-figures. The 5'10" wing/forward is off to a fantastic start, leading the 3-3 Eagles in points at 16.0 PPG and contributing defensively, averaging 5.0 RPG, 1.0 BPG and 1.5 SPG. She's scoring inside & out and her length is playing a big factor in clogging lanes, picking of passes and disrupting the offensive flow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1124977' first='Dani' last='Daley'] | Wildwood Catholic

Dani came out guns blazing in Year 2, recording a career-high 25 points and [also a career-high] 9 steals on opening day vs Absegami. The Crusaders are off to a fantastic 5-1 start thanks to her tremendous all-court effort, averaging 20.8 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 4.0 APG & 7.3 SPG. Her energy has been infectious and her focus has been more locked in than ever before.

[player_tooltip player_id='986767' first='Lucy' last='Arps'] | Chatham

Lucy's growth from freshman to sophomore year has been meteoric. After seeing the court in limited playing time last year, she's come out swinging for the Cougars, recording seven games in double-digit scoring en-route to a team-best 12.1 PPG (and a career-high 18 points vs Morristown). Chatham is searching for an identity after losing a large chunk of last year's scoring and Lucy is doing a fantastic job aiding in the process!
