Typically accompanying updates are articles highlighting players on the move, newcomers, and just all-around general information regarding each position group. Below is a look at the top small forwards in the state of Indiana, followed by some commentary on a handful of prospects who have played well since the Fall update.

[player_tooltip player_id='751062' first='Grace' last='Fischer'], Waldron H.S.
- After missing the entire 2024-2025 season due to an injury, Grace returned this year and has been putting up double-double type of numbers. She is extremely long, bouncy, and fluidly athletic. She can handle the ball like a point forward, initiate the offense, get to the rim, or create for herself and teammates. She's also a versatile athlete who can defend bigger guards, wings, and forward, plus she's an outstanding wing rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='932696' first='Emma' last='Tinder'], Zionsville Community H.S.
- Emma is another extremely long, wiry, fluidly athletic, and skillful wing. She is a consistent perimeter shooter when she's able to get her feet set and find rhythm. At the same time, over the years she has extended her range from the mid-post to the perimeter, she has improved her handle, and she's starting to play a bit more physical inside the arc. While she is putting together a solid high school career, I still think she'll be better in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='834942' first='Davianna' last='Irons'], Wayne H.S.
- Davianna is one of those prospects whose physical talent outweighs her skillset at this point in her career. She is a true run-and-jump athlete who can attack the basket and beat most defenders to the cup. She has length, a wiry-strong frame, plus she will compete at both ends of the floor. She likes to gamble a bit defensively, but she does create her share of turnovers. I also like her grit and determination at the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='834948' first='Ally' last='Lewis'], Western Boone H.S.
- Ally is one of the lesser-known prospects in Indiana's 2027 class, probably because she spends a lot of her time excelling in two other sports instead of playing grassroots ball. She has some strength at her height, she's a solid all-around athlete, plus she's a 3-year Varsity starter who competes at both ends of the floor. Offensively, she excels by using the free throw line as a weapon, and defensively, she's an excellent rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='1137294' first='Mia' last='Becher'], Heritage Hills H.S.
- Mia is another somewhat "hidden" prospect who doesn't lack for skill or talent. She is extremely long, wiry strong, and she isn't afraid of playing inside of 15-feet and taking on contact. She has a beautiful mid-range shot that she can extend to the perimeter when set and in rhythm. She is a fluid athlete with some bounce, and she can play off the dribble on attack. I think she has a great deal of talent but just needs high-level reps.
