Middle Schoolers Making an Impact – Part 3

She has an excellent role model to look up to and has witnessed how hard someone has to work in order to be great. Looking up to her sister and now being able to practice with her at a young age is something that will be tremendously beneficial as she grows within the Horace program. She is getting into a lot of basketball games and does a good job of controlling the ball, defending the ball, and rebounding. I think her, along with the other two, are going to be All-EDC players in the future and will be able to bring a lot of wins to the program throughout the duration of their careers. She is an athletic 5'8 player with a great attitude on the floor. Her sister Jordan, is another division 1 prospect who is a great role model for Coty. Coty is a long 6' forward with elite athleticism. She is going to be another high-level recruit just by her frame and athletic ability. She runs and jumps at a high level. She has had many games this season where she plays two halves of varsity. She plays a ton for Nedrose, a team that is struggling to find wins in a very competitive Region 3. She is a bright spot for the team and is doing a nice job of building a foundation for a competitive team going forward. She is one of their primary ball-handlers and doesn't get too flustered with pressure. She is a long 6'3 and looks like she could still grow a bit. She runs the floor well and has good hands around the basket. She has good footwork and all of the foundational pieces to be great. She is averaging double-figures in scoring. She is also averaging nearly 10 rebounds a game as well. Edinger really shines defensively. She is incredibly difficult to score over and blocks or alters shots around the basket without fouling. I think she certainly makes it next season if she doesn't find her name called this season. Phillips is an electric lefty who is really difficult to keep from the basket when she is driving with her strong hand. She is one of the fastest players in the West and is really difficult to stop. She is averaging over 15 points per game and shooting over 50% from the field. She is going to have a special career as a Sentinel. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
