She is high level when it comes to knowing how to score. She does a tremendous job of finishing in the paint and using a variety of moves. Powell is versatile in her approach as she can knock down shots all over the floor. She is best when she can get her feet set and let it fly. She can get to the basket off of a few power dribbles. When she has a smaller defender, she can make a post move in the paint and finish. She is best facing up in the hi-post area and knocking down shots or taking one hard dribble to the rim and scoring. She can also play back to the basket or face up in the mid post area and be effective. She is a strong rebounder and can dominate the glass.
