The Broomfield Eagles are 19-0. Here’s Why

Between the Gilpatrick sisters coming up huge alongside the Eagles' defense prioritizing stop at all costs, Broomfield has all the momentum and confidence a team could ask for. There are a handful of elite caliber hoops who have put Broomfield on the map and are the key reasons for their undefeated season so far. Favorites to win the state championship this year, it's time to unpack the Eagles' blueprint and why it's worked out in their favor. Let's talk about it.

[player_tooltip player_id='894459' first='Reece' last='Gilpatrick'] continues to raise the bar for the class of 2028. She's been a massive contributor to Broomfield's undefeated season, providing the Eagles with 17.7 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 3.1 APG, 3.8 BPG, and 3.3 SPG. This level of production is hard to come by, and Gilpatrick oozes confidence each possession down the floor. The 6'4 star forward gets to her spot efficiently with a quick jumpshot and elite footwork. Only a sophomore, it's scary how high Gilpatrick's ceiling is throughout the next two years. For now, Gilpatrick is more than thrilled sitting at 19-0 and will do anything to secure her team more W's.

[player_tooltip player_id='876603' first='Addison' last='Esping'] is one of the quickest guards in her class, and she utilizes her athleticism to outhustle her opponents on a nightly basis.
