Brandyn Newbins | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
After watching her development over the last year and a half, it’s no surprise Addison stood out this season. She shot the ball well, put it on the floor with confidence and got to the rim. Night in and night out, she found ways to contribute to winning from the guard spot.

is a shifty 5’7 point guard who pays attention to detail within her shot selection and decision making. Taking care of the rock is of utmost priority to Esping, which coaches alike appreciate. The top-ranked PG in the 2028 class has established herself on both sides of the ball, averaging a consistent 13.2 PPG, 2.8 APG, and 1.7 SPG in the regular season. I predict Esping will turn the temperature up several notches in high-stakes games like this one. Despite Riverdale Ridge’s tough defense, Esping should have no problem getting into a groove early.

is one of the quickest guards in her class, and she utilizes her athleticism to outhustle her opponents on a nightly basis. The 5’7 point guard specializes in making precision passes and effective decisions on offense. Esping’s ball control and shot-creating abilities differentiate her from other guards in her class. Averaging just under 14 PPG, 2.8 APG, and 1.8 SPG, Broomfield’s coach can count on her to give the Eagles a boost on both ends of the hardwood.

just showed us all she’s the truth in Tuesday’s recent matchup against Silver Creek. Applying pressure on defense and tacking on 22 points as a sophomore on varsity speaks volumes to her improvement and focus. Going 9/12 in the same game, Esping’s shot selection was detail-oriented and selective. The 5’7 PG out of Broomfield has just started to get in her groove, and Esping is hard to stop when she’s in flow state.

is a bigger guard who consistently takes advantage of smaller defenders in the paint. She’s a crafty ballhandler who knows how to get to her spots and operate in the half court. A decent shooter from three, she’s more than capable of scoring from multiple areas on the floor. Defensively, she’s versatile enough to guard positions 1 through 3 and brings a strong presence on that end.
