<p>West Albany did the unexpected and swept South Albany. Springfield remains my pick to win the 5A title for the fourth week in a row. Here are my Top 12 in 5A after week 11:</p>

<p>Springfield defeated Eagle Point 66-32 on the road. The Millers host Thurston on Tuesday and travel to Ashland on Friday. [player_tooltip player_id='832596' first='Darissa' last='Romero-Ah Sam'] announced offers from Umpqua, Mt. Hood, and Lane community colleges.</p>

<p>West Albany swept South Albany after closing out a 60-53 upset on Tuesday and rises two spots to No. 2. <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2026/01/5a-no-6-west-albany-upsets-no-1-south-albany-40-34/">Round one</a> and <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2026/02/mid-willamette-west-albany-closes-out-south-albany-60-53/">round two</a> against the RedHawks both came down to the final minute. The Bulldogs routed Corvallis 81-26. [player_tooltip player_id='832050' first='Payton' last='Starwalt'] scored a career-high 51 points, the biggest single-game scoring performance in program history. West Albany travels to Lebanon on Friday.</p>

<p>South Albany has been on the losing end of many close games this season and dropped to No. 3 after falling to rival West Albany on Tuesday. The RedHawks host Woodburn on Tuesday and go to Dallas on Friday.</p>

<p>Crater came from 13 points behind to defeat 4A Henley 70-57 ([player_tooltip player_id='832611' first='Taylor' last='Young'] scored a game-high 38 points with 11 rebounds and 5 steals), and blew out Thurston 82-13. The Comets go to Eagle Point on Tuesday and Churchill on Friday.</p>
