Here are some of the top performances from February 2-8, 2026.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Shout-outs</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='910385' first='Ginger' last='Milot'] from Monarch sealed the win with a euro-step layup in the final 8 seconds. In a thrilling comeback, she grabbed a rebound and raced down the court for the game-winning basket.   Heysenny Beltran from Monte Vista hit the game-winning free throw with seconds remaining. Sienna Daniel's key block in the final moments helped secure a tough win for Monte Vista over Alamosa.   [player_tooltip player_id='1220141' first='Willa' last='Schump'] grabbed 15 rebounds for Poudre last Thursday, including 4 on offense, outworking bigger opponents. Her hustle gave her team extra chances and held Vista Peak to only one shot per possession.   Annabelle McClary from St. Mary's went coast-to-coast and made the game-winning layup with 2 seconds left. Her layup powered her team to an exciting overtime win over Forge Christian.   [player_tooltip player_id='967132' first='Zoey' last='Smith'] orchestrated Severance to a stunning upset over Berthoud. The junior guard racked up 28 points and 12 rebounds on a scorching 79% shooting night.     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Player Of The Week</h2>    Buenning's stellar week powered the Evergreen Cougars to a 2-1 record. Her 35-point explosion single-handedly kept her squad alive against a tough Standley Lake team. Buenning's interior presence anchored Evergreen's defense, and her crafty scoring around the rim sets her apart. She plays an important role in Evergreen's press break, providing poise and leadership. Against Standley Lake, she threaded a step-through pass against the press, before receiving the ball for a smooth left-handed finish. This season, Buenning has elevated her game to new heights.   Averages for the Week: 26.0 PPG, 10.3 REB, 4.3 AST, 2.3 BLK      <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Outstanding Game Performances</h2>    Slater's outstanding play and 20 point performance powered Erie to a comfortable win over Fairview. Her relentless aggression fits the Tigers' defensive identity, as she attacks every possession with purpose. Slater has good handles and the ability to get downhill and finish around the rim. Against Fairview, she got to the basket with ease, created contact, and earned multiple trips to the charity stripe. On defense, she thrives on forcing turnovers and igniting fast breaks for easy buckets. Another outstanding performance for the West Texas A&M commit.     Cain's sensational 27-point effort lifted Cherokee Trail to a hard-fought comeback over Eaglecrest. Down by 11 early, Cain took charge, pouring in 10 of the Cougars' first 15 points as she drained two deep threes. Her relentless drives kept the defense scrambling all night. In the fourth, a slick crossover and left-handed finish put her team ahead for good. Cain proved once again why she is the top prospect in her class.     Vrooman's flawless performance against Brush propelled Resurrection Christian to a commanding win. Vrooman was a perfect 8-8 from the field and dominated the action early. She opened the game with a three-pointer on the right wing. Moments later, Vrooman nailed a three from the top of the key. On the next play, she stole the ball and sliced through the defense for a left-handed layup. She was active on defense, forcing bad passes and swiping 3 steals in the process. An outstanding night for the senior guard.     Johnston continues to impress with a career-high 24-point performance against Smokey Hill. Johnston is a high-energy player who consistently outworks her opponents. I love the energy and style she brings to every single play. Against Smokey Hill, Johnston was showcasing her ability to create havoc in their full-court press and converting turnovers into easy layups. She was aggressive, attacking the basket and getting to the line 10 times. Johnston shot an efficient 8-12 from the field, including knocking down a three-pointer. A great game for the senior wing.     Asp was on point against Lewis-Palmer, dropping 34 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a convincing victory. She was able to get to her spot at will and knock down layups and shots with ease. Asp added 4 triples in the process, showing off her quick release. She added 2 assists and 6 steals, capping an outstanding night for the senior guard.
