27th District Tournament Recap

In the heart of basketball country, Kentucky, the intensity was unmatched!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The multiple time state champions&nbsp;<a href="//generic-entity?number=1">Sacred Heart Academy</a>&nbsp;dominated the host Waggener 87-5 in one semifinal, showing why they are a perennial powerhouse.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The&nbsp;<a href="//generic-entity?number=2">Atherton High School</a>&nbsp;Lady Ravens survived a thriller, winning 57-54 over&nbsp;<a href="//generic-entity?number=3">Seneca High School</a>&nbsp;in a battle that had fans on the edge of their seats. The sophomore has taken a huge leap this season, averaging 10.5 ppg while shooting 56% from the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='747640' first='Amirah' last='Jordan'] scored 13 points and hit 3 three-pointers.
