3A/4A Super Sectional Preview; Players to watch

It really is anyone's game at this point in the season, but only 4 can make it to ISU. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>First in 3A is Glenbard South Vs. Trinity. Glenbard South enters at 29-4 after winning the De La Salle sectional while Trinity enters at 24-10 after winning the Trinity sectional. This game should be a very fun watch and be tightly contested. Her ability to facilitate an offensive is also impressive as she can flat out make a play. Glenwood. Macarthur enters this meeting at 26-6 winning the Normal West sectional, and Glenwood enters at 28-4 winning the Waterloo sectional. Glenwood won the first meeting between these two teams by 22, but I would expect this one to be closer. Macarthur comes in after beating Lincoln in the sectional another team who beat them earlier this season, so they are no stranger to overcoming previous defeats. She put up 25 and 10 in their sectional championship, and she will look to continue that output tonight. Alexis is physical on the boards, creating extra opportunities for her team. Neuman doesn't shy away from contact, but can also find an open jumper. St. Viator. Geneva enters as the underdog of class 3A this season. They hold an 18-14 record and came up with 4 straight upsets to win the Crystal Lake Central sectional. St. Viator comes in at 21-14 and the winners of the Grayslake Central Sectional. Both teams are battle tested going into this one and it will make for a fun one to watch. One word to describe her game would be shooter, she can flat out shoot it. Teams do not want to get caught watching when she gets in around the arc. I was also impressed with her movements without the ball to get open for shots. Providence. Washington enters this game with a 32-2 record and they won the Galesburg sectional. Providence comes in at 31-4 and as winners of the Hillcrest sectional. This matchup will have so much great talent on the court that will all come ready to play. Both teams are deserving of a state run and I can imagine this game will live up to it's expectations.
