Class 1A State Championship

The 1A State Championship featured Marion County and Winterboro battling for the title in a hard-fought matchup. Winterboro struggled with offensive efficiency for much of the game, but they made up for it with relentless defensive pressure. By forcing 28 turnovers, Winterboro consistently created extra scoring opportunities. Despite Marion County holding advantages in several statistical categories, the turnover margin proved to be the deciding factor. Winterboro capitalized on those opportunities to secure a 67–60 victory and claim the 1A State Championship.    Final Four MVP   [player_tooltip player_id='1233492' first='Katelyn' last='Brown'] earned Final Four MVP honors with her outstanding all-around performance. The two-way guard finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Brown impacted the game on both ends with her scoring and defensive effort. She controlled the pace offensively while making key plays for her teammates. Her leadership and production helped guide her team to the championship     All-Tournament Team   Kailynn Williams earned All-Tournament Team honors with her strong two-way play. The forward finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds while making her presence felt inside. Defensively, Williams was dominant at the rim with 6 blocks. Her length and timing made scoring in the paint difficult. Williams' impact on both ends helped anchor her team's performance.     All-Tournament Team   [player_tooltip player_id='1774154' first='Kalyria' last='Massingale'] delivered an outstanding all-around performance with 13 points on 50% shooting. She added 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and a block while impacting multiple areas of the game. Defensively, Massingale was relentless, recording 7 steals and constantly disrupting the offense. A true two-way guard, she contributes on both ends with energy and awareness. Her activity and versatility helped swing momentum throughout the game.     Jolie Kate Cox earned All-Tournament Team honors with another strong performance. She finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists while adding a block. Cox is a three-level scoring forward who can impact the game from inside, mid-range, and beyond the arc. Her rebounding presence helped control the paint throughout the game. Cox's versatility makes her a difficult matchup for opposing defenses.     All-Tournament Team   [player_tooltip player_id='1039004' first='Lily' last='Robinson'] earned All-Tournament Team honors with a strong scoring performance. She finished with 17 points, providing a consistent offensive spark. Robinson attacked with confidence and found ways to produce in key moments. Her scoring helped keep pressure on the defense throughout the game. Robinson stepped up when her team needed offense.     All-Tournament Team   Jadin McCollum earned All-Tournament Team honors with a dominant defensive performance. She finished with 5 points but controlled the paint with 21 rebounds, including 6 offensive boards. McCollum also protected the rim with 6 blocks. An elite rebounder and shot blocker, she made scoring inside extremely difficult. Her defensive presence and toughness anchored the entire game.
