Crowned with Accolades: Most Valuable Players (II)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The NCHSAA has been hosting their state championships this week, and we have officially crowned 8 state champions.  In each of these games, there is an award given to the Most Valuable Player.  Here are the well deserved award winners from the last two days.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block little bit of everything for her team grabbing steals and rebounds and pushing the tempo taking the ball up the court on fast breaks even scoring on a solo one through contact.  She was tough in the paint getting offensive rebounds for her own two points.  Her ability to score in the paint was definitely an asset as her opponents had trouble guarding her with her strength.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph lot of work in the paint sealing off her opponents to get the entry pass, and she didn't back down from contact going up for shots or rebounds.  She was using offensive rebounds to get her own points.  Her offensive rebounding was effective giving her team the lead back with under a minute to go and ultimately winning the game for her team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- from deep moving to the opening as her teammate drove and made the pass to her.  She ran the floor well being able to catch the pass and make the adjustment running full speed to score her points.  She had some tough takes late in the game driving to the basket not backing down from contact and earning some trips to the free throw line.  She hit a couple of big time three pointers late in the fourth quarter trying to put the game away.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block way in the paint catching entry passes and going up for some points.  She runs the floor well being ready for the pass in transition.  She even hustled up the court in transition to get some offensive rebounds to put them right back up.  Her blocks were effective protecting the basket and creating turnovers only being three blocks away from a triple-double.  She stripped the ball away from her
