We are down to the final four with the Division 5 state semi-finals starting today. I will be pointing out one player, from each team, that could be an X-Factor in helping their team take home the gold ball on Saturday.

Avaya Zwiefelhofer-Eleva-Strum

29-0 Eleva-Strum has a very deep roster so trying to figure out who could step up as an X-Factor was tough but I am going with 5-10 junior Zwiefelhofer. Solid this season, she is averaging 9.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.6 apg, 2.2 spg, and 1.5 bpg and has the Cardinals looking like favorites for the title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227271' first='Nevaeh' last='Schultz']-Fall River

The Pirates are a team that relies on two players averaging north of 17 a game in [player_tooltip player_id='874589' first='Natalie' last='Fietz'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1242892' first='Emma' last='Sampson'], however 5-10 sophomore Schultz stands out to me as the key to today's game for Fall River. Providing a viable third scoring option will be key if 17-11 Fall-River is to pull off the massive upset over undefeated Eleva-Strum. For the season she is averaging 8.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.1 apg, 2.6 spg, and 1.1 bpg and will be counted on to help keep this one close.

Ella Van Order-Pacelli

Van Order, a 5-9 senior, is playing possibly her best basketball as her high school career winds down. After averaging 13 points a game, in the Regional round, she stepped up, in the Sectional scoring 55 in the two games to secure the Cardinals spot in today's game. Her continued hot shooting could prove to be the difference to get Pacelli a title shot tomorrow.

Hannah Esch-Barneveld

Hanna Esch, a 5-5 senior, has had a solid senior season averaging 11 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.5 apg, and 2.2 spg. While her shooting has been down, this season, her finding her range could prove to be the X-Factor, for the Golden Eagles, as they come in as one of the hottest teams in D5.
