Nora is a tough and active forward with length who worked hard to make a difference for Rochester Adams during their win in the District 27 semifinals. Nora used the glass to convert a jumper in traffic, scored with touch around the basket, made the effort plays, and knocked down free throws efficiently at the line. Nora anticipated a pass to snag a steal and poured in eight points for the Highlanders.

Raegan is the kind of player every coach wants to have on their team. I know that because I had the privilege to coach Raegan during fall league her sophomore year. She celebrates teammates and high-fives everybody on the court before heading into the timeout. Raegan used effective crossovers and pocket dribbles with both hands to create space from defenders. She sprinted in from the trail position to block a shot, battled inside to secure rebounds, anticipated a pivot move in the paint to block another shot, and fired skip passes to open teammates. Raegan had a balanced shooting stroke from the perimeter and split the gap to score a soft floater off the glass. She will continue her Lacrosse career at the University of the Cumberlands following graduation.

Kelsey delivered a standout performance in a difficult semifinal game for Lake Orion, and she's clearly going to be a foundational player in their program. Kelsey muscled her way into excellent rebounding position on both ends of the court and grabbed the ball with strong hands inside. She outworked multiple defenders to secure an offensive rebound and maintained her balance to score a reach-around layup off two feet. Kelsey made a great adjustment to catch a deflected pass in the corner and drained the long two. She used an effective forward pivot to get the scoring angle and knocked down the contested, mid-range jumper. Kelsey used a jab step to create a driving lane, then went right by to cause a help defender to put her on the free-throw line. She beat a defender with a crossover dribble to score a stretch layup with her left hand and led the Dragons with 15 points.

Lilly drained a three-pointer up top and came sprinting in like she was shot out of a cannon to grab multiple offensive rebounds throughout the game. Lilly anticipated passes and pressured opposing ball-handlers to create multiple steals on the defensive end. She battled for 50/50 balls, blocked a shot, and made a great dump-off pass after making the help defender commit to her drive. Lilly drained four shots from the line and poured in seven points to help Rochester Adams advance to the District 27 Finals.

Regan sprinted up the court in transition, caught the outlet pass with good hands, and created space with her dribble to score a mid-range jumper off the glass. She gave Rochester Adams a boost with her perimeter shooting, knocking down two triples from the wing. Regan worked hard to keep the ball contained on defense and poured in eight points to help the Highlanders advance to the District 27 Finals.

Faith was determined to keep the Rochester Adams season going tonight, and that was evident right from the opening tip. Faith caught a pass in top gear, converted the and-one layup, then swished her free throw in the first quarter. She stole the ball away, attacked hard downhill, absorbed contact, and scored the off-platform finish. Faith took her game to another level in the third quarter. She led Rochester Adams on an 18-2 run with 14 points and looked unstoppable. Faith used a quick rip move to drive by a defender for two points, then zoomed right by again to score a tough and-one floater off the glass. She swished her free-throw to finish the three-point play at the line. Faith used a sudden crossover dribble to get to the nail, caused a foul, and buried both free throws. She stepped into a pass on the wing and buried a deep three. Faith picked off a telegraphed pass to score a speedy fastbreak layup and used her quick hands to generate multiple on-ball steals. She penetrated the defense with an explosive downhill burst to earn many trips to the foul line and converted an efficient 90% of her free throws (9/10). Faith led all scorers with 24 points, 14 in the third quarter, and led the Highlanders to a District 27 semifinals victory. She will continue her basketball career at Olivet Nazarene following graduation and will be an outstanding addition to their program.
