With the district championship on the line, key players stepped up with clutch scoring, strong defense, and timely plays to guide their team to a hard-fought victory in the district finals. Using her blazing quickness and impressive leaping ability, she constantly pressured the defense and created scoring chances throughout the game. Mariah finished with 19 points and six rebounds, attacking the basket and displaying a variety of crafty finishes in traffic. In the district finals matchup against Rockford, she repeatedly took control when her team needed it most, playing with the determination of someone unwilling to see her high school career come to an end. Performances like that are exactly why she has earned recognition as a Miss Basketball candidate.

Kyrah, a senior guard for Evart and a Ferris State softball commit, delivered a standout performance to help lead her team to a district championship upset over McBain. She filled up the stat sheet with 22 points and five blocks, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Kyrah knocked down shots from beyond the arc while also attacking the basket and finishing strong at the rim. Her all-around effort and ability to make plays in key moments helped fuel Evart's victory and secure the district title.

Molly, a sophomore guard for FHN, delivered a huge scoring performance to help lift her team to a district championship win over Northview. She poured in 29 points and knocked down three shots from beyond the arc, providing a steady offensive spark throughout the game. Molly showed the ability to score at multiple levels, stretching the defense with her perimeter shooting while also attacking the basket and finishing at the rim. On the other end of the floor, she used her length to disrupt opponents and pulled down key rebounds, making an impact well beyond the scoring column in the title-clinching victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='893890' first='Elly' last=''], a senior guard for Pewamo-Westphalia, played a key role in helping her team secure another district championship with a strong win over Ovid-Elsie. She scored 16 points on the night, including a pair of three-pointers that helped spark the offense at important moments. [player_tooltip player_id='893890' first='Elly' last=''] made her presence felt beyond scoring, crashing the boards despite playing in the backcourt and consistently locking in on the defensive end. Known for her tenacious defense, she consistently pressured the opposing backcourt and made life difficult for ball handlers throughout the game. Tamia also used her speed and explosive first step to attack the basket, getting into the lane and finishing at the rim. From the opening tip, her focus and intensity were evident, as she competed with the determination of someone who wasn't ready for her season to come to an end. Her effort on both ends helped set the tone in the title-clinching win.
