Expert Analysis
Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Versatile kid who just competes. A glue girl who can do pretty much anything that is asked. She can do perimeter work, hitting shots, and setting screens. She can play along the inside, either posting up or catching the ball on the elbows and then doing work. She’s solid on the boards, keeping possessions alive or eliminating second-chance opportunities for a team. Has size, speed, and length, which enable her to do many things. She plays with a lot of heart and confidence. Coaches are starting to take notice, and Brooklyn is on the cusp of her breakthrough. A solid kid who leaves it all on the floor every time she plays.

A long forward who can play inside and out. Brought in 10 points during the championship game. Playing one of her best games of the tournament, she hit shots throughout the contest giving her team a fighting chance. Look for her to help them get back to the big dance next season.

I feel like she is one of the most overlooked kids right now who will be suiting up for the Lady Mustangs this upcoming year. She is a player who can stretch the floor, knock down the 3 ball, but also compete in the interior and battle. She is big on the boards on both ends, can defend, and really gives her all. What I also like about her game is her willingness to go get a bucket, as well as facilitate the rock. A hungry kid who will be beneficial to the Lipscomb program.

This young lady will play an impactful role for the Lady Mustangs ball club. Blessed with size and the ability to cause mismatches, she can stretch the floor as well as finish inside the arc. Her 3-ball has gotten more consistent, but her mid-range game and ability to finish around the rim have been calling her. The Lady Mustangs will look for her to not only help on the offensive side of the ball, but also carry her weight on the defensive end as well. Rebounding, blocking shots, and other defensive efforts will aid in capturing a win as Lipscomb looks to return to state contention. Keep your eyes on this young lady, because she is primed and ready for a breakout year.

Solid ball player who can do all things. This kid just plays the game and goes at it full force. She can play along the perimeter knocking down shots, but also do the dirty work on the inside. She grabs boards, defends, and is essential in the screen game. Look for her to be a tremendous asset for the Lipscomb Academy program and watch as her stock takes off.

Transfer kid who will be waiting in the wings, but I have seen enough body of work in games to see what she is all about. A swiss army knife who can do a multitude of things. Scoring wise she can light it up from the arc consistently, unleash a nice mid-range jumper, or bully around the block and finish off two. Defensively she is long where she gets deflections, block shots, and will occasionally poke balls away from opponents who are “lossy goosy” with the ball. She contributes on the boards, which is another feather in her cap. Something that most don’t get her credit for is her ability to handle the ball. She can shoot off the dribble as well as grab a board and push the ball up the floor in transition. Solid kid who is going to shine when her number is called.

Stretch 4 who can pull it from 3 or do work on the interior. She has the ability to handle the rock, becoming a down hill threat who finishes through contact. Solid on the defensive end of the floor, she too can block shots and rebound the basketball at a high rate. This kid will see significant minutes and look for her to star in her role and be a major play for this ball club.
