Weigel was one of three seniors on a very talented Century team. She displayed tremendous leadership with her efforts on the court. She is a typical Patriot player: someone who plays hard, defends well, takes care of the ball, and competes no matter what the score is. She was great in their man-to-man full-court press, turning her girl and cutting off dribbling lanes. She was also effective in their press-break. She calmly found the middle cutter and delivered on-time passes. Her main role on offense was stretching the floor. She finished the season with 32 three-point makes on 44% shooting.

Ariana had an exceptional season. I was really impressed with her ability to come into a starting role while teammate [player_tooltip player_id='245114' first='Maggie' last='Fricke'] recovered from an injury. What was even more impressive was her ability to adjust to Fricke returning to the lineup and continuing to positively impact winning. Ariana was an outstanding on-ball defender and very difficult to get past. She was a good facilitator and ball-handler and could be counted on to make great decisions with the rock. She finished her senior season averaging 5.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

McAllister is certainly a college prospect. She has the height, length, athleticism, and effort to play at the next level. Standing at a true 5'11, Kimimila is able to be a quality forward at the Junior College level, the NAIA level, or the Division 3 level. She could play inside or out, defend multiple positions, and stretch the floor with her shooting ability. She was voted to the 2nd-Team NDHSCA All-State team this season. She had a great season and helped [program_tooltip program_id='712656' first='Mandan' last=''] to a third-place finish at the state tournament.

Vetter helped Flasher have one of their best seasons in school history. Flasher did not lose a single game until the District 8 Championship game. They were able to claw their way back into the state tournament and finish the season with a win over EKM. She was one of their top two players on the court and had a great senior season. She was a talented combo-guard who got the Bulldogs into their offense more often than not. She is a long and lengthy guard with above-average athleticism. She certainly has the frame to be a college guard.

Chaskee is another Bulldog who was critical to her team's great season. She was one of three All-District players (others being Vetter and Ellie Skretteberg). What impressed me most about Schmidt's game was her ability to use her strong frame around the basket. She was coached how to seal up the lane and made it very difficult for opponents to get position. If opponents sat behind her on defense, she just ducked-in and got position right by the basket for easy buckets. She plugged up their defense and was an excellent rebounder as well.

Watford city was an under-estimated team heading into the season, with a preseason poll of finishing fourth in Region 4. They were able to surprise a bunch of people and ended up making the state tournament thanks to the play of some talented players, including very consistent play from Mattson. She had an incredible career and set the tone for a young core that will return next season. The 5'8 guard played hard on both sides of the ball and oftentimes was tasked with defending the opponent's best player. Her season stat line is really impressive, finishing the year with averages of 13.1 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block per game.

Carter put the state on notice with an unbelievable state championship game performance. She nearly tripled her season points per game average of 6.8 and dropped 18 against Minot. She was 3/4 from the three-point line, each one being timely and stopping runs for Minot. This is the type of performance you love to see from a player who competes as hard as Carter does. She was a gritty defender and bought into her role on the team. The sharp shooting senior was impressive in the biggest moments. Davies will sorely miss Ford's leadership and production next season.
