I want to thank the 2026 class for their efforts throughout the years. I have done my best to learn as many players and rank them appropriately. We have increased the amount of seniors by 20 players from last season and I hope we are able to continue to grow each class going forward. There are certainly players I will have missed, but I feel confident we have a great compilation of Class B, Class A, and Class AA talent. Thank you for following 2026 players, family, and fans!

Welstad is a solid player and was the lone senior on this season's Minot North squad. She played like a true leader, setting the tone on both sides of the floor with tremendous effort. She is a good outside shooter, shooting the ball just around 30% from deep. She is a steady scorer at 12 points per game, good for second on the team. I like her rebounding ability for her size. Welstad is a good player who had a great senior season, earning herself a spot on the All-WDA team.

Journey had an excellent senior season and was a big-time contributor for her squad. She played outstanding on the defensive side of the ball. She is a really physically strong player who is able to keep opponents away from the basket. She is quick enough laterally to keep smaller guards in front of her. She didn't look to score much, but was effective when she did. She finished the year averaging 6.7 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Johnson is a true athlete and impressive presence on the floor. Her length really stands out and she runs well for a forward. She has a good shooting form with a smooth follow-through. She can defend without fouling, rebound the rock, and push the ball in transition. She is tough on the perimeter where she can attack off of the bounce. She can get to the basket, pull up for a mid-range jumper, and pass to cutting teammates.

Topp was the lone senior on a Carrington team that had a fantastic season, just finishing short of a state tournament birth. The Cardinals finished with an impressive record of 20-5. Sienna helped lead a young team to a ton of victories that sets Carrington up for an exciting future. The 5'9 point guard was steady in the press-break, not only effectively passing and dribbling against pressure, but also attacking the press for buckets. She moves well and is deadly in the ball-screen. Her leadership was critical to Carrington's successful season.

Claire had a quality senior season for the Wahpeton Huskies. She was a starting guard for her squad and produced some solid statistics for a role player. She averaged 4 points per game and 2 rebounds per game. She was effective stretching the floor and was one of Wahpeton's better three-point shooters. She shot 33% from behind the arc for the season. Claire was a good off-guard who ran well in transition and played good team defense.

Kadie is a big reason that Valley City found itself back in the 2026 state tournament, where they ultimately repeated as State Champions. Valley was down 14 points to Wahpeton heading into the fourth quarter of their Region 1 State Qualifying game. The Hi-Liners came out in a full-court zone press with Kadie up top which helped them get right back into the game. Her length and defensive pressure really bothered Wahpeton and forced a bunch of turnovers. She converted on multiple layups and dump-off passes to her teammates. She displayed great senior leadership and showed off her athletic ability.
