Ava kept getting better and better each time I watched her play. She played more of a power forward position this season for the Hawks. She was tasked with playing down near the basket and defending opposing team's post players due to some injuries on the team. She battled hard around the basket and was very effective fighting for position. She was an efficient scorer when her team needed her to be. She finished the season shooting 44% from the field, 30% from three, and 69% from the free-throw line.

Staab had an outstanding senior campaign. She knew her role was to stretch the floor with her shooting ability and did a great job executing. She made an impressive 68 three-pointers on the season. I would assume that would be near the top of Sheyenne's record books for most made three-pointers in a season. She shot it at a good percentage as well, finishing at 37%. She did everything she could to try and get the Mustangs to the state tournament. She scored 33 points, including 7 three's, in their state-qualifying loss to Grand Forks Red River.

Jacobson was a big reason Red River spoiled Sheyenne's state tournament hopes. Amy was always a reliable defender but doubled her points per game average in the state qualifying game. She dropped 18 points on 6 for 8 shooting from three. She stepped up big when her team needed her the most. Defensively, she played with tremendous effort and enthusiasm. She turned her opponents and traveled well on air-time. She finished her senior season averaging 9.4 points per game while shooting 40% from three.

This season's Minot team will go down as one of the best teams in state history. Knutson was one of the main glue pieces to the State Champions. Her production and statistics would look more impressive if she wasn't on such a talented team. Her length, athleticism, and anticipation made her a tremendous defensive player. She could shut down opponents and make things really difficult. Her main role on the offensive side of the ball was to space the floor with her excellent three-point shooting ability. Williston State has got to be very happy that Eve choose them to continue her basketball career.

Trenbeath moves up to the #6 spot in an incredibly talented class. She is clearly one of the best players in the state. I think Liza was a snub for not being a finalist for Miss Basketball. She had a crazy good senior season, averaging about 27 points per game. I don't think people realize how difficult it is to score 27 once, let alone average it for an entire season. She isn't just a one dimensional player; she can defend, rebound, and has great vision passing the ball. She left her mark and showed what it takes to be a great player to her younger Kindred teammates.

Fallon is a top three player in Davies school history. I would only put Lexi Klabo and Ashton Safranski above Fallon. She scored over 2000 points in her career and is the record holder for career points at Davies. Passanante is committed to Division 2 powerhouse Minnesota-Duluth. I think this is an excellent fit. Fallon should have a great career there and could possibly transfer to a Division 1 school in the future. That is how talented she is.

The Davies Eagles are going to miss Nasra next season. She earned herself a starting position this season and had an awesome year. I appreciated how hard she played and the joy she played with. She was an awesome teammate. Her shooting ability really stood out to opponents. Opposing teams had to stay attached to her on the offensive side of the floor. The sniper shot 38% from behind the arc.
