<p>Galax got the game started with a corner two three's from [player_tooltip player_id='1805639' first='Madelyn' last='Goad']! They followed that with a nice pass that cut through the zone to Kayla Young for two. Kayla Young was able to get the basket for a layup to stretch the lead to 10-2! Finally Luray was able to get a field goal as Caroline Donovan drove to the basket. But early it's been the [player_tooltip player_id='1805639' first='Madelyn' last='Goad'] show with 3 first quarter three's. Luray strikes back with two back tom back buckets from Emily Benson and a three from Chloe Gochenour to end the frame Galax in the lead 15-11!</p>

<p>2nd quarter </p>

<p>The quarter started with both team trading three point baskets from Brylee Painter and [player_tooltip player_id='1727031' first='Rylee' last='Hawks']. [player_tooltip player_id='1805639' first='Madelyn' last='Goad'] continue her hot shooting draining two three pointers to give her an early 15 points in the half. Galax was just on fire hitting back to back three's this time it was Kayla Young that led to a timeout! After two Galax free throws Luray got a much needed three pointer to end the half and Luray trailed 31-19.</p>

<p>3rd quarter </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1805504' first='Keely' last='Bartlett'] got her first bucket of the game for Galax and that was followed with a long range three from Caroline Donovan from the top of the key. [player_tooltip player_id='1727031' first='Rylee' last='Hawks'] hit her second three of the game extending the lead for Galax to 15 points. That was followed with [player_tooltip player_id='1805639' first='Madelyn' last='Goad'] dropping a dime to [player_tooltip player_id='1805504' first='Keely' last='Bartlett'] twice for two points. Emily Benson got back to back buckets for Luray that stopped a 3 minute score less spell and down 46-30. </p>

<p>4th Quarter </p>

<p>Both teams traded free throws to start the quarter. Both teams struggled in this quarter Chloe Gochenour was able to get the first field goal of the 4th quarter. looks like [player_tooltip player_id='1805504' first='Keely' last='Bartlett'] is starting to establish herself in the low block with a nice hook shot in the paint. Alaya Poindexter had a nice drive and a coast to coast layup Luray answered that with a three of their own down now 55-39. But after a missed basket [player_tooltip player_id='1727031' first='Rylee' last='Hawks'] got a break away basket which pretty much sealed this game for Galax 57-39!</p>
