[player_tooltip player_id='522423' first='Annsley' last='Trivette'] has been dominant for Abingdon this whole run to a state title. The NC State commit carried Abingdon in the semis, and she filled the stat sheet in the final. Annsley is so fundamentally sound, and she uses her size to get what she wants around the rim. Every time she was in the paint, it seemed like she either scored or was fouled. There were a couple of plays in the first half that she finished where I honestly thought she was fouled, and they weren't called. She finished with 25 points. 14 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Elizabeth Nichols is a really solid piece for Abingdon. She defends well on the perimeter and has a lightning-quick release from three. She hit 2 threes and was an underrated reason Abingdon was able to capture its first state title.

Camilla Diamond did not have an efficient game and struggled in the first half, especially. With that being said, it felt like she was the only Skyline player who could create shots. She hit threes on back-to-back plays in the 3rd quarter, and she flashed her all-around game. Her athleticism was on display both on defense and on the glass. She finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Jha'zhiya Babb was terrific for Manor in a low-scoring and at times sloppy game. This game felt like it was going to be Manor's speed vs Salem's size, and Jha'zhiya was a big reason Manor's speed won out. She was a committed driver early getting to the line a number of times, which kick-started a struggling Manor offense. Jha'zhiya's passing was outstanding, and when she got out in transition, you saw that she was pretty clearly the fastest player on the court. She knocked down a few threes, and defenders struggled to stay in front of her all game. The Freshman guard finished with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

I mentioned Salem's biggest advantage was its size, and [player_tooltip player_id='438497' first='Emme' last='Custer'] was the player who took the most advantage of that. Emme did a great job moving without the ball to get easy shots at the rim. Manor did a great job on the glass, but the one offensive rebound Emme got, she turned into a tough lay-in over a number of people. Emme showed off her touch and finished with half of her team's total points with 20.
