Opening Day 15U Standouts From The Great Lakes Kickoff Pt.2

I locked in on the 15U and 14U divisions this weekend, and as we start shaping the 2030 class, keeping a real eye on this freshman group matters just as much. Early on, you can already see who's separating and who's just blending in. She has solid ball handling skills, but its enough for her to get where she needs to go. She showed flashes of a strong 3&amp;D type, and continued to have big moments throughout the games she played. I believe she is a bit taller than she was during the high school season, and if she continues on that path, you're looking at a good sized guard who can switch in and out of scoring and running the show. This kid has a solid foundation of skills that outweigh her size. She can get to the rim without all the extra moves and finish off bigger players with no hesitation. She has a strong sense of awareness and has no problem with contact when she gets to the rim. On the open floor, she can take it all the way home, or she uses her IQ to draw as many as she can and finds the easy kick-out assist.
