Southeast Kickoff: Breaking Ankles, Building Names

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops hosted their Southeast Kickoff event this weekend in Hickory, North Carolina with players from George, South Carolina, and North Carolina coming together to kick off their travel seasons.  There were many standouts from the event.  I've already talked about some of the top performers playing up, so let's focus on some of the 2027s playing in their division.  Here are some of the stand out ball handlers you should know.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block on defense being ready to protect the basket.  She talks a lot on the court letting her teammates know what they're running and what defense they're in.  She ran the floor well finding the open lane being ready for the pass in transition when she didn't come up with the steal herself, but she was certainly getting the turnover on her own at the top of the key preventing offenses from getting anything set up.  She has a finesse with the ball in her hands that defenders had trouble keeping up with.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block step move creating space and pulling up for the jumper.  She was quick handling the ball pushing the tempo up the court.  She had some nice dishes to her teammates under the basket as she attacked the open lane making defenders collapse around her, and she could make the full court pass with ease.  She's patient letting a lane open up for her to attack the basket and get some points.  She did well going back up strong for the bucket off of offensive rebounds.  She was so effective popping the ball out from her opponents as they tried to drive to the basket.  She had some nice range on her shot, over the court making the flash to the basket to score off the pass.  She handled her own getting to the basket herself with her ball handling, and she certainly had a nice shot from deep even pulling up for some deep shots with no fear.  She found her teammates up the court for some fast break points catching her opponents off guard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> nice dishes to her teammates attacking the basket and dumping it off to her teammate on the block.  She hustled after loose possessions making sure her team had a chance for the ball.  She took the
