State Tourney Time: Day 2 Standouts

The opponents tried to pack in the inside to stop Jones, but it didn't happen. Jones is a great inside presence that is tough to handle on both ends of the court. This kid does all of the dirty work inside. Karson is also automatic at the foul line. Opponents have to pick their poison with this one! Kailee drained five long balls! Kailee has a beautiful outside shot, and she is confident in her ability to knock down shots! Defensively, she did an excellent job on any of her assignments. She excels in pressuring the ball. I love the non-stop motor that Haymond plays with. Hannah continues to be a tough match-up for opponents. Felton finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Felton had one of the best defensive performances in the tournament this far. When you hold an opponent to a specific number, it may not show on the stat sheet, but it is a stellar performance. Felton does a great job inside the perimeter. This was a huge performance from Gracie to help her team move on in the tournament. The young guard had a break-out performance with this game and I will not be surprised to see more of this from Gracie.
