Championship, 4 p.m.

Outlook: This is an excellent group of teams, which makes for a very intriguing Final Four. Defending state champion Doniphan is back to try to repeat. In the semifinals, the Donettes will face Benton in a rematch of last year's state championship game. Benton is making its fourth Final Four appearance in the past five years. In the other semifinal game, Cardinal Ritter will take on Strafford in a battle of two more major contenders. Strafford is making its first Final Four appearance since its historic run of state championships. Cardinal Ritter moved down to Class 4 this season and are in Columbia at full health after battling injuries throughout the season.

Outlook: Lift for Life is back in the Final Four in search of a third consecutive state championship. The Hawks have endured the loss of standout guards Amaya and [player_tooltip player_id='803071' first='Cara' last='Manuel'] to get back to Columbia. They still have plenty of talent on hand at every position, including a stellar senior backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='488377' first='Zha' last='Harris'] and [player_tooltip player_id='493477' first='Diamond' last='Polk']. They will face a very talented Grandview team from the Kansas City area with size and athleticism. MICDS returns to the Final Four after finishing fourth in Class 4 last season. They are led by 6'1" 2028 star [player_tooltip player_id='750683' first='Jordyn' last='Haywood']. The Rams will face a very talented Marshfield team that is looking to bring a state title back to the SWMO area. They have an outstanding forward in 6'2" 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='803072' first='Peyton' last='Ward'], who had a triple double in the state quarterfinals last weekend.

Thursday, March 19

Third Place, noon

Championship, 6 p.m.

Outlook: Incarnate Word is seeking a sixth consecutive state championship. The Red Knights will be favorites once again, but this is a very talented group of teams in Columbia. Staley finished as the state runners-up last season and all of the top players are back for second shot a state title. Lee's Summit West has a very deep and talented team while Jackson is a up and coming team that is loaded with young talent.
