We've been working on updating all of our Prep Girls Hoops Minnesota prospect rankings over the past few weeks, including the Classes of 2027, 2028 and now 2029. This week Ally McGinnis and I have been introducing all of the newcomers to the list. With the AAU season officially beginning on Saturday, we've made it to the finish line just in time. This is our final installment – the last four who've made the grade in our winter rankings update.

Porter is a high-energy guard whose impact goes far beyond the box score. Although her numbers were modest, she showed throughout the season why she's going to be a valuable piece for years to come. Porter first caught our attention at the Fall Exclusive. Her quickness, bounce, and defensive tenacity stood out immediately. She excels in transition, creates turnovers with active hands, and brings constant pressure on the ball. Light on her feet with strong lateral movement, she has the tools to guard multiple positions. Porter's court awareness, versatility, and nonstop motor make her a difference-maker, especially on the defensive end. She'll play AAU for the top [program_tooltip program_id='714566' first='Minnesota' last='Stars'] 2029 team coached by Josh Hersch.

The folks in Perham having been telling us about Kunza's potential for a long time now. Right on cue Ashtyn elevated her game when it mattered most, emerging as a key contributor during Perham's postseason run. Averaging 6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists with 66 steals on the season, she brought energy and hustle to spare. Kunza started every game at State and showed no fear in big moments, consistently making smart plays. She's a crafty ball handler who attacks off the dribble and, like pretty much all Perham players, can knock down shots from deep. Defensively, she's relentless, jumping passing lanes and chasing rebounds with urgency. With added physicality, Kunza's already dynamic game could reach another level.

Post showed steady growth throughout the season, developing into a poised and consistent floor general for a White Bear Lake varsity squad coached by her dad Jeremy Post. Averaging 6 points per game, Amelia's impact is felt more through her decision-making and leadership than raw scoring. As a coach's kid, Post plays with a strong understanding of the game, handling pressure with confidence and composure. An excellent ball handler and super-smooth shooter, she can stretch defenses from the perimeter when needed. Post is a pass-first guard who values ball movement, but her confidence continues to grow offensively. Tenacious and unselfish, she plays with purpose every possession.

Theobald made an early impression at the Breakdown Tip Off Classic and continued to make her presence felt as part of a veteran Stewartville roster. Playing with confidence beyond her years, she brings a strong, physical style and isn't afraid to mix it up against older, more experienced players. Theobald handles the ball well and is comfortable making plays in traffic. She hustles relentlessly, particularly on the offensive glass where she creates second-chance opportunities. Defensively, she understands help concepts and positions herself well. With toughness, effort, and growing confidence, Theobald has the foundation to become a quality player at the next level.
