Yes, the 2029 class is here, and they are ready to kick down the doors. This past season, we saw a glimpse of some prospects in this class. A talented core group of players who are ready to take the reins and rule the basketball platform for the upcoming seasons. Some girls got a taste of the varsity life early, while a few got the keys to the program on day 1. Either way you look at it, the 2029 class is ready to make some noise.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past season saw some ‘29s get some early playing time. None were shy of the bright lights at all. They took coaching, played their role, and stepped up when their number was called. I am excited about the future of this class. It seems like every year the quality of basketball keeps getting better and better. With this group, there won't be a step lost in growing the game. Look for a slew of these players to make a name for themselves early. All throughout the watch list, you will come across names you need to keep tabs on. This young lady is a walking double-double who puts in the work. Strong and confident, she knows how to position herself to exploit one's weakness. A heady ball player who instills confidence in others. She dominated the interior and controlled the boards on both ends. When her club needed a bucket or needed a stop on the defensive end, she was the girl who did so. She's about to stack successful seasons like this past one. She's laid the foundation, and now it's nothing but up for this young lady. She's getting accolades and now has the attention of collegiate coaches. She's going to sit down and guard on D, using her quick hands and feet; she is going to poke the ball loose, and it's off to the races then. She's a kid that bring the energy and the pain. Defense is something she hangs her hat on. Getting steals, blocking shots, controlling the board, shutting you down is something she takes pride in. Offensively, she can beat you inside or out. She has handles, can use her body on the blocks, and finish against contact. I love her ability to create off the dribble. One thing is for sure: once she gets going, she won't be denied. Keep tabs on this young lady. She's been indoctrinated in the Bradley Central way.
