New Additions to the 2028 Class - Spring Edition - Part 2

Round 2 below!   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/dakotas/rankings/north-dakota-rankings/2028-rankings/">FULL 2028 RANKINGS - CLICK ME!</a>    Archer is an impressive athlete on the court.  She has good size for a guard and long arms that help her out defensively.  She is a strong athlete and defends bigger girls.  She is extremely physical and isn't fazed by some traffic by the basket.  She has great timing when trying to block shots.  Her outside shooting is impressive.  She has a quick release and nice lift on her shot and can hit multiple three-pointers throughout each contest.     Johnson is another player in MLS's impressive sophomore class.  She moves well and has a strong base.  She has the potential to be a very solid high school post player.  She is already a nice defender, traveling to the right positions on the pass and fighting for space by the basket.  She is quick enough laterally to keep guards in front and contest jump-shots.  She has good hands and catches passes from teammates.      Hoornaert is part of a large Carrington class of talented basketball players.  She was one of three All-Region selections for the Cardinals.  She is a dynamic threat on the offensive side of the court.  She moves well and has an impressive change of speed that allows her to slip past defenders on drives to the hoop.  She does a great job in their press-break and can attack advantages when given the opportunity to do so.  She uses ball-screens well and can deliver on-target and on-time pocket passes to rolling posts.     Marah is a very nice prospect and has already had a decorated career, earning her second All-Region selection this season.  She is a great athlete on the floor and her movements with the ball and to the basket are very fluid.  Her athleticism is clearly a notch above other players on the court.  She can score from all three levels and has a very nice looking shot.  She excels getting to the basket and drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line where she consistently knocks down her free-throws.  I am excited to see how far Marah can go as a recruit.     Kutz is Carrington's third All-Region selection from this sophomore class.  She is the anchor of her team's defense and is also an excellent offensive talent.  She can finish with both hands around the basket.  She is another excellent athlete with an impressive frame that could translate to the college floor.  She will have to focus more on playing the ‘4' as opposed to the ‘5', but the foundation she has is impressive.  She plays hard and crashes the glass.  I really like her aggressive footwork around the basket.  She has a nice double-drop step move and keeps opponents on her back while finishing at the basket.     If I could describe Sierra in one word that word would be steady.  She is a very polished point guard already as only a sophomore.  She doesn't get sped up with the ball and makes great decisions.  Her assist to turnover ratio last season was 1.65, one of the best in the WDA.  She is an outstanding defender, particularly on the ball.  She is often tasked with defending the opposing team's best player.  She attacks closeouts on the offensive side and can knock down the three.  She finished her sophomore campaign averaging 5.3 points, 6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 3.3 steals per game.  She had 103 deflections recorded in addition to her steal total.     Blasey was Nelson County's best player and only All-District selection. There was a significant void in all facets of the game if she was taken off the floor for any reason. She is her team's primary ball handler, offensive initiator, and defensive specialist. She often was tasked with defending opposing team's best players. She is a guard who isn't afraid to post up and be physical by the basket. She is good in their ball-screen actions. She is a part of a team with no juniors or seniors, so she and her fellow sophomores have had to grow up fast and become leaders in their varsity program.     Padilla is a young prospect on a very good Hatton/Northwood team that returns every player other than one senior.  The Thunder won 21 games last season and just barely missed out on getting to the state tournament.  I think they can make it next year with players like Isabel.  She is a long and athletic guard who is a great defender and rebounder.  She can stretch the floor with her three-point shooting ability.  She has a nice lift and rotation to her shot.
