New Balance Lady P32- Unsung Heroes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>New Balance got their Lady P32 league off to a great start in Milwaukee with their first live period event offering of the season. They did an excellent job, rolling out all of the bells and whistles for what turned out to be a great presentation. I want to start my coverage by recognizing some players who went hard and had their motors turned all the way up. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Abria Reynolds, iDream, 2029, Guard </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":1842574,"width":"320px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/20260417_135624-rotated-crop-1836x1206-1777515285-crop-640x420-1777519267.jpg?w=639" alt="" class="wp-image-1842574" style="width:320px;height:auto" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Abria was one of the first players I noticed when I stepped into the gym. She was flying all over the court and making plays on both ends. She made some ridiculous circus shots on the fast break while finishing through contact that got her teammates fired up. She was applying heavy ball pressure and it resulted in a couple of turnovers which led to quick points for her, or her teammates. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Iyanah Lafontant, New Jersey Panthers, 2027, Guard </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Iyanah was all hustle all game. Her motor was turned all the way up and I loved her unselfish play. She has some serious speed and quickness to go along with some serious ball handling skills. She served up quite a few accurate passes to her teammates that led to easy buckets. I'll be looking for her again on the next New Balance stop. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1261362' first='Amyah' last='Heyliger'], Power Move, 2027, Guard </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Amyah is one tough guard and she brought the heat all weekend. She is an absolute menace on defense and she hounded ball handlers in every game I watched. She's small but has great footwork and good upper body strength and balance, which allows her to apply maximum pressure. She was very disruptive and her teammates fed off her energy. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Alia Johnson, New Jersey Panthers, 2027, Guard </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of my favorite players to watch over the weekend. She's a small guard but she really brings the heat on defense. It was almost impossible to beat her off the dribble and she terrorized ball handlers in every game I watched. She has a very high IQ and was very effective running the point for her team. She seamlessly moved over to play off the ball and was equally effective in that role, calling out plays and getting teammates into position.
