This event showcased athletes ready to compete, perform, and make their mark in front of coaches, scouts, and supporters. Every player showcased their skills, basketball IQ, athleticism, and determination. Her ability to finish with both hands around the rim allows her versatility in how she attacks the basket. She can run the floor well on or off the ball in open space and looks to get easy dump-offs for buckets. She likes to get to her spots in the mid-range, and can play out of the high post or low post and score efficiently with touch. She can stretch the floor and is not shy about shooting the ball. A team-oriented player, Ward plays an unselfish style of basketball and does a lot of the dirty work her team needs to win games. She has a big wingspan that allows her to contain guards on the perimeter.
