Prospects Who Could Raise Their Stock This AAU Season

Every year, there are players in each class in Wisconsin who have excellent grassroots seasons and elevate their stock in the eyes of college coaches. Now that there is one live period in the books and about three more months of basketball, depending on the program, before the season ends. Now is as good a time as any to look at some prospects who could impress coaches at the next level before the end of July.    I was impressed by how Stremlow stepped into a more prominent role in her sophomore season at Verona. The Wildcat is a physical player who excelled around the basket because of her motor and physicality. She has always been capable of guarding multiple positions, but I've always appreciated her ability to physically handle defending some of the most physical kids in the Madison area, even as     The Winneconne native is an off-ball wing who can space the floor and knock down shots from beyond the arc. However, she is a player who is comfortable using a pump fake and getting into the mid-range area to score off a dribble. There is plenty of room for her to grow, but I think her competitiveness makes me believe that whatever her ceiling may be, she'll reach it.     The Hortonville wing is a versatile kid who can make plays with the ball in her hands. Biese is a rangey kid who is comfortable operating with the ball in her hands and could attack mismatches on the perimeter or around the basket. She's a raw prospect with all the tools to become a player who can continue to develop and garner interest from regional schools at the college level. Biese can be a handful for defenders when she's in her groove on the offensive end of the floor.     Every time I see Fischer, I like what she brings to the floor more than I did before. The Appleton native is an athletic guard with as much lateral quickness as anyone on the defensive end of the floor. She was excellent as an on-ball defender this past weekend in Texas at the first 3SSB session of the year at the 16u level. She also has all the leadership traits you'd want in a lead guard. She's vocal, positive, and is a player who her teammates respond to when she speaks. There is room to grow as a scorer on the offensive end, but there are few guards who impact the game like Fischer.
