The tournament, hosted by Logan County, opened with the host Lady Cougars setting the tone early. Logan County came out focused and ready, knocking off Russellville 53-48 in a hard-fought semifinal. Their defensive pressure and ability to control tempo proved to be the difference. On the other side of the bracket, Franklin-Simpson made a loud statement, dominating Todd County Central 80-29. The Lady Wildcats were firing on all cylinders offensively and defensively, showing early they were locked in on a championship run.

Senior Tiffany Harrigan was outstanding, finishing with 24 points and 8 rebounds in the championship game. The athletic guard has been a major piece of Franklin-Simpson's success all season, especially in the second half of the year where she elevated her game. Harrigan averaged 16.4 points per game, pulled down 4.5 rebounds, and shot an impressive 90% from the free throw line. Her ability to attack the rim, finish through contact, and create offense in big moments makes her one of the most dangerous guards in the region.

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='965789' first='Brenley' last='Adler'] finished with 8 points and 4 rebounds in the title game, but her season body of work was outstanding.
