The semifinals, hosted by Lee County and Estill County, wasted no time setting the tone. Estill County came out focused and in control, locking in defensively and never letting Lee County find rhythm in a commanding 60-40 win. On the other side, Owsley County made a statement of their own, overwhelming Powell County 60-37 with a dominant all around performance. Both teams left no doubt they belonged on championship night.

When the lights were brightest, Estill County showed exactly why they have been the standard in the 56th District. In a physical, hard-fought championship matchup, the Lady Engineers took control and never let go, securing a 49-36 victory and their second straight district title. It was a complete performance built on defense, execution, and experience

Callee took over the biggest stage and delivered like a true senior leader. She poured in 20 points, attacked when it mattered most, and calmly knocked down 5 clutch free throws. This is what she has done all season long, leading the team in scoring at 12 points per game while consistently finding ways to impact the game. When Estill County needed a bucket, she was the one answering.

Maddie was as efficient as it gets and made every touch count. Dropping 12 points on 60% shooting, she brought a level of consistency that is tough to defend. All season, she has been one of the most reliable pieces on the floor, leading the team in field goal percentage at 54.9%. She doesn't force it, she just produces.

Hale came through with big time shot-making when it mattered. She knocked down two huge threes on her way to 8 points and added 3 rebounds, stretching the defense and creating space all night. As the team's second leading scorer and top three-point shooter with 60 makes on the season, she is a constant threat the moment she crosses half court that defenses have to find.

Skinner brought toughness and owned the glass. She finished with 4 rebounds and 2 points, but her presence was felt every possession. She does the dirty work, battles inside, and controls the boards at a high level. Averaging 6.4 rebounds per game and out rebounding everyone on the team by a wide margin, she is the backbone of Estill County's interior play.
