There is nothing like cutting down the nets on championship night. Heated rivalries, packed gyms, and pride on the line. This is Kentucky basketball at its absolute best, and the 57th District Tournament brought all of it. High intensity from start to finish, big time moments, and players stepping up when it mattered most. Every team battled, but only one could finish the job.

The semifinals, hosted by Johnson Central, set the tone early. The Lady Eagles came out locked in and never looked back, taking down Magoffin County 52-37. Their defense was relentless all night, contesting everything and controlling the pace from the opening tip. In the other semifinal, Paintsville made a loud statement, rolling past Martin County 77-42. The Lady Tigers were clicking on all cylinders and left no doubt in their performance.

The Lady Eagles dominated from start to finish, securing a 66-33 win and claiming their third straight district championship. A complete performance on both ends and a reminder that they are still the standard in the 57th District.
