Saturday's Difference Makers at ENG Sports Invitational

Day two of the ENG Sports Invitational in Wesley Chapel brought another wave of strong performances as teams settled in and competition picked up. Saturday featured players who made their presence felt with consistent production, energy, and playmaking on both ends of the floor. From guards controlling tempo to forwards impacting the paint, the depth of talent was on full display. Here are the standout performers from Saturday's action:    Italia is a strong left-handed prospect in the 2030 class who shows intriguing all-around potential with her size. She has the ability to step out and knock down the three while also putting the ball on the floor. I liked her effort to crash the offensive glass and create extra possessions with her activity. In the half court, she showed solid footwork with her back to the basket, using a shot fake into a step-through finish. Defensively, she uses her reach well to contest and block shots. Her combination of size, skill, and upside makes her a name to watch in the 2030 class.     E'mani is a strong, physical post prospect with great size and frame who moves well for her build. She attacks the glass and gets up for rebounds on both ends. In the half court, she shows good back-to-the-basket footwork and the ability to score through contact. Her combination of size, athleticism, and mobility is highly valued at the next level. She added momentum to her weekend by picking up an offer from the University of Tampa.     Kendall is known for her shooting, but her overall execution stood out this weekend. She used her length to create a steal and turned it into a smooth pull-up jumper in transition. Defensively, her long arms allow her to disrupt shots and bother drivers. She scores efficiently and shoots it well, and her combination of height and length adds to her value as a 2028 prospect. She has recently picked up offers from High Point and Harvard.     Freda is a long, high-energy prospect who continues to show growth in her game. She used a strong spin move to create a bucket and plays with consistent effort on both ends. She showed touch with a runner and has good form on her three-point shot. She also uses the glass effectively when finishing. With her length, motor, and developing skill set, she is a 2030 prospect to watch as she continues to evolve.     Hadley is a lead guard in the 2030 class with good size and frame for the position. She gets downhill and finishes with either hand while using her body to absorb contact at the rim. She uses her length defensively to create steals and disrupt passing lanes, including tipping a three-point attempt. Hadley showed strong feel by meeting a pass in stride and converting a lob play in the air. Her combination of size, control, and defensive activity makes her a promising young guard to track.
