About Kendall
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Kendall is known for her shooting, but her overall execution stood out this weekend. She used her length to create a steal and turned it into a smooth pull-up jumper in transition. Defensively, her long arms allow her to disrupt shots and bother drivers. She scores efficiently and shoots it well, and her combination of height and length adds to her value as a 2028 prospect. She has recently picked up offers from High Point and Harvard.

played with ease and confidence and continued to show the shooting stroke that has made her the most prolific jump shooter in the 2028 class and one of the top shooters in any class. What made Proffitt’s performance special for the weekend was her ability to not only shoot the jumper but also to score from the free-throw line, from offensive boards, and from drives to the rim. Proffitt’s ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game while still shooting the “J” made her performance very impressive and added to the overall shine of the 2028 class at the Sunshine Showdown.

continues to separate herself as one of the top shooters in the class. As shown above, her three-point shot is smooth, quick, and consistently efficient, as she’s proven with 100+ made threes in multiple seasons. Beyond her shooting, Proffitt showed growth in her overall game—attacking off the bounce, making plays out of drives, and creating for teammates. She rebounds well for her position and competes on both ends. Proffitt doesn’t shy away from challenges and continues to expand her game beyond the perimeter.

Kendall has moved into the the Top 5 in Florida’s 2028 class. KP is one of the top shooters and scorers in the state regardless of class, consistently producing at an elite level. Her all-around impact allows her to be among the most statistically productive players not just in the state, but nationally. Long and tall at the shooting guard position, she pairs great form with a quick, repeatable release that makes her tough to contest. Tight coverage on the perimeter opens up other areas of her game as she handles the ball well and makes the right pass when defenses overplay her shot. Continued growth as a downhill attacker and pull-up shooter has added another layer to her scoring package and raised her overall ceiling even more.

Proffitt is not just a shooter, but a playmaker who can handle the ball and get teammates involved when defenses set out to stop her. But make no mistake, Proffitt is a scorer who averages 28.8 points per game. She is poised for the upcoming playoffs and is a dangerous player to face in a loser-go-home scenario.

showcased why she is one of the top recruits not only in her class but in the entire state. Her ability to shoot the ball is top tier. The 6’1”–6’2” guard can shoot over the top of defenders and consistently knock down shots from deep. She also displayed her ability to put the ball on the floor, using combo dribbles to create space for side steps or step-backs while still getting her shot off. Without a doubt, Kendall was a top-3 shooter in the gym and proved why she already holds multiple Division I offers.
