Space City Slam Top Impact Players: 15u

The scorers did what they do, but the ones that really separated themselves were the defensive stoppers, energy pieces, and glue players. I'm talking about guards picking you up 94 feet, wings taking matchups personal, bigs cleaning everything up on the glass. You saw kids diving on the floor, making winning plays, running the lanes hard, and embracing their role with no ego. Defensively, she was strong, physical, and looked comfortable guarding multiple positions without much trouble. Offensively, she played within her role but still found ways to produce, knocking down shots and getting paint touches when available. Parker is the type of player that helps winning teams because she doesn't force it and still affects the game on both ends. What is most impressive is the fact that Parker is only a 6th grader but proved that she was arguably the best defensive player in the entire 15u division!
