We are midway through the Spring, and we have updated the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For many of the ladies in the Class of 2028, they begin leadership roles at their high schools, and several of them will start getting significant attention from college coaches. The overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 135 total prospects to 150 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at all of the center prospects in the Class of 2028. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects.

Kariya really jumped onto the radar this season, as she was a big impact player at Marian all Winter, averaging 16.9 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. She has a strong, athletic frame, some length, and she is a nice run-and-jump athlete. While she has a great deal of talent and potential, she is still refining her skill around the block. Once that comes, she could be scary, because she's already highly effective at the defensive end of the floor. She will be a fun one to watch develop over the next couple of years, and there should be plenty of interested colleges by the time it's done.

Meelena is someone who catches your attention from warm-ups, because she is extremely long, wiry-strong, and somewhat bouncy. She moves around the entire floor well, she rim-runs fairly well in transition, and she can catch and finish on the run. She's another front-liner who needs continued skill development in the offensive halfcourt, but she definitely has some instincts around the rim and likes to explode up. Defensively, she can be a problem, utilizing her height and length to affect/block shots consistently. She also pursues rebounds well outside of her area.

Kendall is probably a little more polished than other girls on this list, and she has a lot of potential to be a nice small college recruit moving forward. She has nice length, she's a fairly fluid athlete with some bounce, and she continues to add skill to her game. She will often drive it from the wings, and she'll look to shoot the occasional 3-pointer at times. Defensively, she can defend bigger wings and forwards out on the perimeter, or she can patrol the paint and block/alter shots like a post defender.

In this 2028 class, Zyah is one of the more impressive prospects with all upside to her. She is every bit of 6-3, she has an athletic frame, and she is tremendously long. She can get out and run the floor North/South, and she makes a lot of athletic plays. One of the hardest things for prospects her size is learning how to play lower, wider, and stronger, especially when establishing position at either end of the floor. Once that comes, I think she can develop into a much more consistent and effective offensive presence.
