After seeing Zyah in Louisville a couple of weeks ago, she is every bit of 6-4 now. She is extremely long, one of the longest girls in the state, and she does a nice job of getting up and down the floor. Eventually she will need to get stronger, but she might still grow another inch or two. Even still, she tries to play the right way and be physical inside, so she doesn’t avoid contact. Overall, she has done a nice job of adding to her game each year and building her understanding of where to be, both offensively and defensively.

Zyah Jones Zyah Jones 6'4" | C Indianapolis Attucks | 2028 State IN continues to establish herself as one of the stronger interior presences to watch. The WV Thunder Harrington Rise center brings size, physicality, and a strong motor every time she steps onto the floor. She does a tremendous job controlling the paint and making life difficult for opposing teams around the basket.
Jones rebounds the basketball at a very high level and consistently gives her team second-chance opportunities on the offensive glass. Around the rim, she finishes well through traffic and uses her frame effectively to create space in the post. Defensively, she alters shots, protects the rim, and forces opponents to think twice before attacking inside.
What makes Jones stand out is her willingness to do the dirty work. She embraces physical basketball and competes hard every possession. College coaches are always searching for players who can anchor the paint, rebound consistently, and bring toughness, and Jones has shown she can provide all of those things.

In this 2028 class, Zyah is one of the more impressive prospects with all upside to her. She is every bit of 6-3, she has an athletic frame, and she is tremendously long. She can get out and run the floor North/South, and she makes a lot of athletic plays. One of the hardest things for prospects her size is learning how to play lower, wider, and stronger, especially when establishing position at either end of the floor. Once that comes, I think she can develop into a much more consistent and effective offensive presence.

. On Saturday, she made her presence felt with her size, length, and activity around the rim. Jones rebounded the ball well and consistently challenged shots, making it difficult for Pike to finish over her.
As she continues to develop her skills and confidence, Jones has the potential to rise in the rankings. Her physical tools, combined with her improving feel for the game, make her a promising prospect to watch in the 2028 class.
