Summer hoops is already in session. With that their are many players in the class of 2027 who could make a big name for themselves ahead of their senior season for school ball. Here are five small forwards in the class of 2027 who have a chance at doing just that.

Listed at 5'11" for Wilson Central, the aspect of [player_tooltip player_id='821982' first='Brylee' last='Fly']'s game that immediately jumps out is how dynamic she is in the post.

Fly can lower her shoulder and bully ball dribble her way to a bucket on the low blocks. She can especially do this going right. Fly can also score near the basket with some finesse. She has a good array of post moves to get defenders off balance, and is more than comfortable at scoring off touch shots. Those shots could come in the form of a right-handed floater or a left-handed hook shot.

Fly is also a good defender. Her lateral movement is above average for her size at the high school level. It helps her tremendously when defending opposing post players in and near the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='846622' first='Zamiya' last='Riley'], in her junior year, had a bunch of great moments and continually improved throughout the season.

One of the areas' RIley excelled the most at the SF position was her playmaking. Riley sees the floor at an average level. Because of this, she can zip in passes to gaps her teammates right as soon as they become open, which then results in assists.

Riley is also a great on-ball defender. She is great at predicting and reading the movements of opposing guards. This results in her often allowing little separation while also generating turnovers on occasion.

[player_tooltip player_id='792318' first='Raigan' last='Wiggins'] displayed an extremely versatile skillset in her junior season.

Wiggins, at 5'10", has elite speed at her size. She has above-average dribbling skills to pair with her speed and height, as she can play the role of a big guard on some possessions.

With the combo of her size and speed, she is also an extremely talented defender. Guards have a tough time getting around her, and she is also able to guard some interior players on occasion. One of her better defensive games she had this past school season was against Pearl Cohn High School, where she had five steals.

Wiggins on offense has the capability of extending the floor with her 3-point shot. She has smooth mechanics, and going into her senior season, her perimeter shot will only become more of a weapon in her offensive game.

[player_tooltip player_id='907758' first='Addie' last='Harris'] could certainly be due for a big rise in the Prep Girl Hoops rankings down the road. The ceiling she has as a player is among the highest in all of the class of 2027.

One of Harris' main high-level skills in her junior school season was her shot blocking. Harris has excellent footwork at the SF position and does a great job at timing up shots. She had multiple games with two or more blocks, including a contest against Page High School, where she had three.

Harris on offense is a good passer and is also a capable 3-point shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='821857' first='Rylee' last='Bolling'], in her junior season, showcased a three-level scoring skillset.

Bolling can score from anywhere on the floor, and at many times this trait alone caused her opponent to struggle to defend her.

One of her better perimeter shooting games last season came against Gatlinburg-Pittman High School. In the matchup, she scored 20 points, which included three made 3-pointers.

Bolling also has a knack for getting steals. She is especially good at generating steals off of jumping passing lanes. In these steals, she has the speed and dribbling skills to attack the basket and score off the fastbreak opportunities. Bolling had multiple games with two or more steals during the school season, including a game against Campbell County High School, where she had five steals.
