28's To Watch Out For During July Recruitment Period

The class of 2028 has been tabbed as one of the deepest in the state. With loads of talent, this class has impactful players from top to bottom. Girls who have been contributing to their team's success for the past couple of years are now becoming the focal point as they step into the limelight. Some may have been starters who are now first- and second options. Some may have been role players but now have earned the right to see an increase in minutes or opportunities. Whatever the case may be, the 28 class is ready to make some noise.    From the east to the west, the 28 class is one that will be tabbed as a lethal class. One that has a good bit of everything. Regarding the recruitment status of this class, girls have been getting offers and receiving interest early. This class has tough competitors who are pushing the envelope and elevating their play. Though we are about to hit team camps and June, followed by a hot July with live periods, look for the 28 class to see significant movement in the rankings as even more girls start receiving offers.   Here are just a few girls to keep tabs on throughout these summer months.    Heady floor general who keeps her head on the swivel. Always in position to make the right play, she's an effective guard who can run an offense effectively. Can knock down the 3 ball, pull up in the mid-range, but ultimately distribute the rock to the hot hand. Solid defender who will be called up to lead the club this upcoming season.     Will be called upon to do a multitude of things this upcoming season. More importantly, she will be back to her scoring ways. A kid who has the size and length that enables her to capitalize on all three levels. She's great at changing pace and can put up numbers in multiple categories. She's a difference-maker on both ends, providing her club with the necessary juice to win games. This season will be special in Cleveland. Led by this talented kid, they will make noise that will ultimately lead them to new heights.     After a solid first half of the travel ball season, she's going to take the high school season by storm. Battle-tested, she is matching up nicely against opponents, giving them the business. Using her body, getting physical, she is dominating not only the low post, but also getting to favorable spots to exploit. Colleges are taking notice of her play, and with that comes even more confidence. She's a solid ballplayer who is going to make some major noise this upcoming season.     Locked and loaded. She's playing with a chip on her shoulder and with such confidence. This kid is elevating her game to new heights. From playing off the bounce to knocking down shots from afar, the ball is finding the bottom of the net at an unprecedented rate. She's a scoring threat from all over, one who is going to shoot her shot at any opportunity given. She's solid on D, can distribute the ball, becoming a lethal all-around player. A solid addition for a program at the next level.     A special talent that is going to bring it every time she steps onto the floor. A three-level scoring threat, she's going to do whatever it takes to put the ball in the hole. An aggressive downhill threat, she's going to get to the paint and utilize her body as she elevates towards the rim. She's a solid defender who contributes on the boards and will impact the game in multiple ways. She's a finisher and someone who leads the charge in all she does. Look for her to attract the eyes of multiple collegiate coaches moving forward. She'll be a solid addition to a program at the next level.
