Jaslyn Butler Jaslyn Butler 6'4" | C/CG Rhea County | 2028 TN has all the makings of a collegiate player, and she showcased that in her sophomore season with Rhea County High School.
Butler’s interior game is dominant on both offense and defense. Offensively, she has good post moves. That includes a great drop step that she implements at times to get open shots in the paint. Butler is also a solid scorer in traffic and rarely lets other defenders affect her shot attempt down low. Butler, at 6’4″, is also always an offensive rebound threat. She maneuvers well to establish a good rebounding position, and if she gets an offensive board, she often converts it to a second-chance score.
On defense, Butler is an unbelievable shot-blocker. She displays good athleticism for her height, as she is able to jump and make athletic blocks. She can also just alter shots with her height and court awareness.
Multiple games this past season, she had two or more blocks in a game. This includes an outing against Silverdale Baptist Academy, where Butler logged four blocks.

is already one of the tallest players in her class, standing at 6’4″. She showed in her freshman season that she uses this height well, especially on the defensive side.
On defense, Butler is always engaged. She is moving constantly and has great rotations. Because of these two factors, she puts her in ideal situations to get shot blocks and heavy shot contests.
Last season for Rhea County she had multiple games with two or more blocks. This includes a performance against Jellico High School, where she had four points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks. If Butler’s defensive presence continue to trend up the way it was during her freshman season, and her offensive game develops more there is nothing stopping her from climbing the rankings.

Mobile big who is a defensive juggernaut. Her length allows her to block shots consistently. Anytime her hands are up, she poses as a threat. I give her credit in the fact that she keeps her composure and throws her hands high to where she doesn’t get fouls as often. Most kids want to swat at the ball, this kid goes straight up and holds her ground. Offensively, she possess great footwork around the rim that enables her to finish in the painted area. This young lady is a solid two-way ball player that is about to breakthrough and become one of the top centers in her class.

Long. Lengthy. Talented. The first 3 words that came to mind when seeing this young lady. She has a nice lefty stroke that she utilizes from the field, hitting the bottom of the net. She goes through the opposition, meaning she isn’t afraid to initiate the contact and finish at the rim. She’s a big player who plays with poise, knows how to use her body, and has a keen understanding of the game as to how and when to do things. For example, when she blocks shots, her hands don’t go down; she goes straight up, making it even tougher for someone to shoot over her. With that being said, she blocks a ton of shots, locking down the painted area. She’s solid on both ends of the floor and gives her ballclub (both AAU and high school) an edge. She is a talented kid who is going to be a dominant presence for years to come.
